Mollygirl reviewing this Pet-A-Roo Front Style Pet Carrier says: "I originally bought this for my little Lhasa Apso & 1/4 Yorkie mixed puppy named Molly, that decided on her own to ride on my Honda Goldwing with me. One day Molly just jumped up on the seat behind me, so I decided to ride around the block slow to see what she do? Molly never attempted to jump off at all and seem to love to ride with me. But I was afraid to really take Molly out on the road just sitting on the seat! So I bought this carrier to put Molly in for riding her around with me. It was suppose to be rated for a 15 pound dog. I actually looked for a larger size, but all they seem to have is a small and a medium size carrier? Anyway, while Molly was a puppy, the carrier actually worked very well for my purposes of riding Molly around on my Goldwing! But Molly quickly started out growing the size of the medium carrier and she doesn't weigh over the 15 pound rating at all. Molly actually started climbing out of the carrier with her front legs and only kept her back legs and bottom in the carrier while puting her front legs on the tank of the bike. Being the bag does have a safety strap built into the bag itself that you can attach to the harness or collar on your dog. I still felt fairly safe riding Molly around like this with her only half way in the bag. But as she grew more in length the bag became more of a problem to use and I ended up not using it at all. These bags are a great idea in my opinion and are fairly well designed. After all, it did work terrific when Molly was a puppy! But their rating saying these carrier will hold a 15 pound dog is not even close to being accurate. If you dogs body much longer then 8 inches long, this bag will not be big enough for your dog, regardless what your dog weighs? It's a shame they don't make a larger size carrier that was at least a foot longer. Then I believe these bags would be quite useable for at least smaller size dogs. Now these bags would work well for other small animals such as a rabbit or Guniea Pig, etc. The quality there, just too small of a bag! Molly now rides on the seat behind me and I have designed my own safety strap that hooks to both the handles on each side of the Goldwing's seat. Then there's another latch in the middle of the safety strap that attaches to Molly's Harness. This gives Molly plenty of room to move all around on the seat, Including getting up on her hind legs to look over my shoulders or to look over the back Luggage compartment. Yet Still keeps her from being able to fall off either side of the seat. We ride everywhere together including on the freeway and have been riding together for a year now with absolutely no problems whatsoever! So if you've got a little dog you want to ride on your bike, this is a good way to keep your dog safe! Best of luck to one and all!"
