14 oz Window Hummingbird Feeder

Written by Seher | June 13, 2008 at 4:21 pm

14 oz glass hummingbird feeder mounts instantly and securely to any window. Features durable, scratch-resistant, tempered glass nectar container, two feeding ports and perches, and two attached suction cups for window mounting. Easy to fill and clean – slide action bracket simplifies nectar container removal. Scrub and Bottle Brushes make cleaning a snap. Measures 5-3/4" x 4-1/2" x 9" high.

Mounting your Feeder
The 14 oz Window Hummingbird Feeder comes preassembled. Clean the windowpane surface with any good glass cleaner. Dry the window thoroughly.

Rub the Suction Cups' face with your thumb 15 – 20 times. This puts natural oils on the surface, which eliminates moisture and ensures proper adhesion to the glass.

Place the feeder in desired area on the window. Press feeder and cups against the glass, using a gentle circular motion to eliminate air pockets. Be sure it is level from side to side.

If you are not mounting the feeder for the first time, empty and if necessary, clean the hopper. Now fill with nectar.

Cleaning your Feeder
To clean, empty out remaining nectar and debris. Wash using warm, soapy water. (Use a mild liquid soap, no harsh detergents, abrasives, or bleaches.) Use a small bottle brush to clean inside the nectar tube and to tackle any stuck-on messes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and allow to dry completely before refilling.

To simplify cleaning, use Perfect Little Brushes to clean the two feeding ports. Use Scrub & Bottle Brushes for cleaning the inside of the nectar container.
