Jr. Piggy Growth Formula Daily Diet
High fiber, alfalfa and timothy hay blend diet specifically for guinea pigs 3 weeks to 7 months old. Fiber-rich, orange flavored formula contains extra Vitamin C to ensure that daily requirements are met.
Also contains amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and folic acid for bone, tooth, and respiratory tract development, and red and white blood cell formation. The variety of shapes, textures, and densities offer exercise for proper gum and tooth development.
Feeding Recommendations
Cavies (Guinea Pigs) from 3 weeks to 7 months of age: Feed free choice. For best results replace any uneaten or soiled food daily. Practice good hygiene by routinely cleaning the feeding dishes. Always supply a fresh source of water.
Adults (over 7 months of age): 1-2 ounces of feed daily. Try to feed at the same hour each day (or hours if you choose to feed twice daily).
Nursing and Pregnant Cavies: Should be fed free choice, removing any uneaten or soiled food daily. The amount can be varied to address stress levels and unique requirements.
Storage:
For optimal freshness, store in a cool, dry area before and after opening. Refrigerate for extended storage.
