Kaytee Soft-Sorbent is a small animal and bird bedding and litter that is fantastic for the environment; both your pet’s and your own. Kaytee Soft-Sorbent is made from wood fibers that are not suitable for paper production. Important Usage Instructions:
Cage Considerations
Appropriate for use in any cage type.
Amount
Cover floor with loose product to a depth of 1-2 inches.
Cleaning
At least once per week, remove all bedding and wash enclosure with
a mild soap solution. Rinse cage thoroughly with clean water to ensure
the removal of soap residue. Frequency of cage cleaning depends on the
size of your pet’s home and number of animals. Always replace
Soft-Sorbent with fresh product. Not maintaining a clean environment
could result in your pet developing respiratory problems due to ammonia
build up from urine.
Disposal
Used material can be composted, flushed, (about ¼ cup per flush) or discarded.
Caution
Monitor baby birds to ensure they don’t consume bedding accidentally. Animal consumption of any bed product should be avoided.
